3.7 Security

All ThriftDB REST API actions can be accessed over HTTP or HTTPS. Since security needs vary across developers and applications, ThriftDB leaves it up to the developer to choose their own security level. If you would like all of your communication with the server to be secure, you can encrypt your communications using HTTPS. In the interest of simplicity, all of the examples in this documentation use HTTP.
